About the PING Junior Golf Tour Masters 2025
The PJGT Masters is aimed at junior golfers aged 21 years and under who would like to compete in a series of 18-hole competitions across the UK. We’re proud to be delivering these events at some of the best clubs and hope players enjoy the challenge that lays before them.
In 2025, there will be 20 qualifying events taking place including 4 major events, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.
Each event will be using the Golf Genius Software, utilising the mobile app to score your round with live leader boards and modern technology to enhance the experience. We’ll also have a professionally set up first tee, as well as some fantastic prizes for the Gross and Nett winners in each category.
Format
Each event will be played over 18 holes on either the White, Yellow or Red tees (or equivalent colours), with each event carrying Order of Merit points. All of these events will be acceptable for handicap purposes.
The Tournament will split into a Gross and Net Order of Merit with the following divisions:
- Under 12s Boys (Gross & Nett)
- Under 15s Boys (Gross & Nett)
- Under 21s Boys (Gross & Nett)
- Under 12s Girls (Gross & Nett)
- Under 15s Girls (Gross & Nett)
- Under 21s Girls (Gross & Nett)
The Top 8 Boys & Top 8 Girls in each category (Gross & Nett) will qualify via the Order of Merit for the PJGT Masters Grand Final, taking place on Saturday 13th September 2025 at Thonock Park, Lincolnshire.
Eligibility
Boys: To be eligible to enter, players must be 21 years old or under on 1st January 2025 and have a WHS handicap index of 28.4 or below.
Girls: To be eligible to enter, players must be aged 21 years or under on 1st January 2025 and have a WHS handicap index of 36.4 or below.
Please check our terms of competition for further details about the events.
Order of Merit
Each golfer plays within their relevant division in a Gross and Nett competition throughout the season. Players accrue Order of Merit points based on their finishing position after each event, with the best five scores counting towards the Grand Final. For example, if a player enters 12 events, the best five scores will be used in that divisional Order of Merit. Players are permitted to play in as many events as they wish but only the best five scores will count towards the Order of Merit.
Grand Final
The Top 8 golfers from each Division (4 Best Gross & 4 Best Nett) will qualify for our Grand Final on Saturday 13th September 2025 at Thonock Park, Lincolnshire.
